The Fused Glass Diva has used her artistic license on the ancient technique of Cloisonné. A technique of creating designs on metal vessels (in the Diva’s case, glass) with colored-glass paste placed within enclosures made of copper or bronze wires, and then kiln fired. This technique historically originated in the Eastern Mediterranean region dating back to the 12 century BC.
